How long does a website take?
It depends on the size. A single-page site can be ready in a few days; a small multi-page site usually takes one to two weeks; larger or online-shop builds a little longer. A lot also comes down to how quickly your content reaches me — and I'll give you a realistic timeline before we start.
Is the website mine? What about my domain?
Your domain is always yours — it's registered in your name and I'll transfer it to you whenever you ask. The website itself is built for your business and looked after as part of your plan: there's no big upfront bill, just one simple monthly price. If you ever leave after your first year, your domain comes with you — you're never held hostage.
What if I don't have a logo or content yet?
That's fine and very common. I can guide you on what to write, help structure your content, and point you to simple options for logos and images so it never becomes a blocker. Or, for an additional fee I can manage it for you.
How does payment work?
It's a simple monthly subscription — one fixed price that covers the build, hosting, SSL, email and ongoing care, so there's no large upfront bill. There may be a small one-off setup fee to get started. Plans run on a 12-month minimum term and then continue rolling month to month, so you can cancel anytime after your first year. Prefer to pay for the year up front? You can — and you'll get a month free.
Am I tied in? Why monthly?
Monthly keeps it affordable — you get a professional, fully-managed site without a big upfront bill, and everything stays handled for you. There's a 12-month minimum term so the work makes sense to take on, and after that it's rolling, so you can cancel anytime. Your domain is always yours and transfers to you whenever you ask, so you're never locked in or held hostage.
Do you do hosting and domains?
Yes — it's all included in your monthly plan. I host and manage everything so it's genuinely hands-off: fast, secure hosting, SSL, backups, updates and your professional email, all looked after for you. Your domain is always registered in your name and I'll transfer it to you whenever you ask, and I include a domain free for your first year if you don't already have one.
What happens after launch?
You'll get a quick run-through of how everything works, then you can leave the rest to me. Hosting, updates, security, backups and reasonable small changes are all handled as part of your plan — just message me whenever you need something and I'll sort it.
What's included in the monthly price?
Everything needed to keep your site live and working: the design and build, fast secure hosting, your SSL certificate, professional email on your own domain, and ongoing care — backups, updates, security and reasonable small changes. The parts that do something (contact forms, booking, email) need a server behind them, and that's all my job. One price, no catch, and I'll explain plainly what makes sense for you.
Can you set up email like me@mybusiness.co.uk?
Yes — professional inboxes on your own domain are built into every plan (Starter includes 1, Business 3, Shop / Custom 5). You can add more anytime from your account portal for a few pounds a month each. It keeps your email and website together in one place and looks far more credible to customers than a Gmail or Hotmail address.
